Services
Private Training In Home Lessons
I come to you! You and your dog will learn Heel, Sit, Down, Place and Come. Also, Thresholds, Dealing with undesirable behaviors, and other skills custom to your dog. This option is best for the owner that wants to be a part of the training process. I teach you how to teach your dog and you do the homework of practicing and solidifying the behaviors.
Board and Train
My three week board and train program is for the person that doesn’t have the time to train at home. It is also good for more severe issues like reactivity to people or dogs, mild anxiety, or issues between dogs in the home. I teach everything listed under lessons plus additional behaviors and manners. Worries about being away from your dog for three weeks? Don’t be! Every day you get pictures and videos, as well as a private link to your dogs progress on YouTube where you can see the training in progress and have a permanent record of what I taught, how I taught it, and why it is important.
Puppy Good Start and My puppy is a Teenager, now what?
Did you get a new puppy and have no idea where to start? This is the program for you! When I got my puppy, Maple, I decided to document all of her firsts. This digital video collection has everything I did from the day before she came home, to kennel training, potty training, basic manners, sit, down, place, beginning leash walking, and stopping naughty puppy behaviors like biting, jumping up, and pulling on the leash. Then I tackled some of the willful puppy teenager behaviors like continued mouthing, pulling on the leash and not coming when called. This program is the most comprehensive as you learn to teach your pup on your own while building your bond with your puppy. Then you have the option to meet with me in person or leave pup with me for daycare when you need a break where I will fill in any gaps of knowledge and solidify the training you started. Some clients chose to have their pup come once a week! Others do it all on their own. This training option lets you be in control.
Who Am I?
My name is Ashley and I am All the Dog Things Training. I grew up with dogs and was always the one to train family pets. In 2018 after many moves with my Navy husband, starting a family, and finally staying in one place for a bit, I went to work for a big dog training company. I learned a lot and loved my job, but when the Navy once again moved us across the country I decided it was time to go out on my own. Thus, All the Dog Things Training was born. In addition to training dogs I am also in online school to become a Vet Tech and spend a few mornings a week working at a local vet for a few hours before returning home and continuing training. I believe in using the four quadrants of dog training, utilizing praise, reward, and fair correction to achieve balance in owner’s relationships with their dogs. I use food/treats and praise to teach and reward desired behaviors. I teach owners how to properly fit and use a prong collar to teach their dog to follow our lead without damaging their trachea (flat collars when pulled), their shoulders (front no pull harnesses), or necks/faces (face halters). I also use Ecollar Technology collars to reinforce and solidify off leash behaviors. If you have questions about my experience or methods please contact me to learn more. My schedule and busy life make for an excellent environment for dogs in training to be exposed to kids, noise, learning the art of doing nothing, and really becoming a part of the family while they stay with me. As far as accommodations go I have a small space in my home where some dogs stay as well as a climate controlled kennel room in my back yard. My kennel room has cameras and temperature monitoring 24/7 so I always know the status of the room and it’s occupants.

If anyone asks me if I would recommend Ashley for training my answer is 100 times YES!!! She make the experience from beginning to end so smooth & easy. I’m definitely a nervous dog mom but everything that Ashley did with the pups made it so easy to have the dogs with her for 3 weeks. Ashley took the time at the beginning of the process to talk with us for at least an hr telling us everything she does and WHY she does it. Along with giving us tips/tricks for the time between booking and the pups going in. We have been SO educated throughout this whole process & are so excited for the future of our well-trained pups 😉 P.S. to any future clients - your pups will be soooo tired from the mental aspect of training they will just want to sleep when you get home. That’s what our are doing right now.

If I could give 50 stars I would in a HEARTBEAT. I interviewed many dog trainers and nothing felt right until Ashley took an hour and a half to educate me on all her methods of training. My husband and I were against board and train until meeting Ashley. There was a trust there that we didn’t feel with anyone else. We got our dogs back after 3 weeks and we are completely amazed at the difference. Before we dropped them off, we had one extremely stubborn dog and one crazy high drive (kinda whacky) dog, and neither of them listened to us. We couldn’t have company because of the seemingly aggressive nature of one. We got back two well mannered, calm pups who understand that we love them more than anything, but there is a time and a place. And we had company 3 times today with NO FUSS from either dog! It was WELL worth every penny, and the time away from our little loves. I am so thankful for Ashley and her expertise, and I look forward to continuing to train our good boys. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The REAL DOG WHISPERER! Our home was out of control with an anxious and submissive peeing dog who constantly fought with our older one. We were at our wits end and Ashley was the last resort. We did the 3 week board and train with additional time to work our younger poodle with the older one. Now our house is one of peace and tranquillity. I am crying happy tears of constant joy it has brought me! Working from home in peace, no fighting, no howling in the crate. This isn’t a one trick pony though you must continue to use the tools Ashley taught you and work and be consistent but the rewards are HUGE! Also while boarding my dogs were well cared for walked, loved and brushed. Ashley maintains a busy home life but you and your dogs are her priority and it shows! She always answered our questions promptly. Oh and did I mention we can now walk our dogs,they are still learning but progress!! A well trained dog is the dog every human deserves. A well trained human and firm but kind leader is the human every dog deserves. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Get the training, don’t wait. Ashley this is your gift and calling to transform the lives of dogs and their owners. Thanks for all you have done for us and our poodles we can’t wait to board with you again!!
